Why you need a ‘competent person’:
- Regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations requires that a business (for profit and not for profit) appoints a “competent person”. If the business does not have an employee who is the “competent person” it must appoint someone external to the organisation to provide that assistance. WHAT WE PROVIDE

We act on behalf of businesses such as; advertising agencies, financial advisors, cosmetic suppliers, manufacturers, food retailers, food suppliers, pubs, etc.
Construction businesses and construction related businesses have a legal obligation to have access to ‘competent construction H&S advice’. (Even when working on domestic properties!) SSiP & CHAS
We are an accredited SSiP CHAS and SMAS Worksafe Consultancy, with an SSiP Registered Auditor and SSiP scheme Accredited Assessor. We are assisting our clients to achieve SSiP accreditation with members schemes such as; CHAS, SMAS, SAFEcontractor, etc. To date, we have 100% client success rate!
We offer a range of e-learning courses that have been approved by RoSPA, IIRSM, IATP, IFE and CPD. All of our courses are suitable for individual learners, SME’s and large organisations. Courses include; Asbestos Awareness, Fire Marshal, Work at Height, Abrasive Wheels, Food Safety, COSHH, Manual Handling, Food Safety, etc.
